Romans 10:14-15 says, ‘How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
I really want to encourage all of you to keep blogging. I know it’s hard and we don’t get a whole lot of recognition for doing it, but it is important! We are the light and salt of the earth, bringing hope and encouragement to a lost world. We are different than everyone else ‘“ and it shows. That’s why it is so important to keep blogging.
The other day I was going down my friends list, visiting a few blogs that I hadn’t been to for a while, and I was really disappointed to find out that a lot of powerful writers had stopped blogging. They just quit! With no forwarding URL, they are gone from the blogosphere. Their potential to help someone, who just happens upon their blog, is gone forever, too.
People happen across my blog all the time. I get a ton of hits on my site from people searching for dragonfly pictures! These people randomly find my blog on Google, and I inadvertently minister to them through posts that talk about Christian faith.
So keep writing! Post what God is laying on your heart, and tackle some hard Christian topics! It’s not about how many comments you receive or how many people visit your blog. It’s about the anointing that God gives those who write and having the pen of a ready writer. Psalm 45:1

Great post!!! I’ve found many bloggers that have encouraged me, and reminded me of things that I hadn’t thought of, or had forgotten. I hope my blog does the same for some people.
No big deal on the tag…*LOL* My blogroll is very limited…so I tagged just about everyone I knew…
Yes Eric,
Keep blogging. The Lord sends just the right people to read the words you write. I have had some really amazing hits to my blog for the most obscure searches. Like “dutch oven chili and corn bread” and “what is your definition of success?” I get that last one a lot because of a post I wrote. I try to remember this maxim: May the words of my mouth (blog) and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in thy sight. If I give my blogging to the Lord, He will use it in His way.
Blessings! Hug your Mom for me, she’s a keeper.

Hi, I am Melanie’s sister Felicity. I Have a few riddles for you. First 1. What word starts with an E ends with an E and only has 1 letter.
Ok, what 2 words have thousands of letters.
See you soon.
Bye Ark Nobake.

Ahhh! THANK-YOU so much for the encouragement, Eric.
It’s all so true, and yet, it seems so easy to get discouraged because you (well, I) can’t see even if anyone IS visiting my blog. But I know that I want to use what God has given me to bless others, and blogging seems to be one way that I can do that.
Anyway, thanks again.
Fellow blogger for Christ,
Lady Tai
Thanks for the comment! And the welcome! I will try to post again soon.

Yeah I understand what you said. I just wanted to share the story of the little boy who did. Yeah the little explanation is okay but you have to draw the line somewhere. You cant be like ‘ ok say this…. say that…’ ya know? and when I reread your post I realize that is basically what you meant. Ha! Sorry, takes me a while to realize simple things
Argh…I haven’t blogged in a while. Thanks for the encouragement!!
Way to go Eric! Now I feel really bad about not blogging as much as I should! LOL!
It was a good post though.
And yes, it makes me feel like I need to post more.
Thanks for the comment!

Hello Eric,
Thank you for the comment.
Thank you very much for your offer to let me use some of your lovely banners, that was quite generous of you.
I’m afraid I won’t be able to include them though, because my internet server is from the stoneage.
Seriously, as it is it takes about five minutes to completely load my blog, and it takes about 10 to load Jocelyn’s. Thank you again for you very kind offer and I will take a look at them, my computer is just so slow! (The DSL network should reach my house in about 10 years. =)
Thank you!
Rebekah Rose
P.S.
What you stated in your post is true, to many good bloggers are quitting without any subsequent reason.
Well, I don’t consider myself a “powerful writer” but on the off chance you were talking about me, I haven’t quit, I just got very, very busy for a while.
Hello,
I tried to take a look at the banners you linked me to, but your photobucket is set on private, so I can’t view them……
I would still like to look at them.
Thank you,
Rose
Very encouraging my friend! Thank you for reminding me to appreciate other bloggers… lets see, how about I start with you! I am very impressed not with the layout merely, but the content and your writing style. I find you to be a very poignant writer and am looking forward to reading more of what you have to offer.
Cheers!

RYC: Thank you so much Eric!! That was a very sweet comment!
Post soon!! I always look forward to reading your posts!!
God Bless!!
You are absolutely right. I’m amazed at what I find on other’s blogs that I’ve just randomly visited, was a word for me that day. The ones who are “preaching” the truth may not be the most popular, but to me, they are instruction for the wise.
Not sure if you remember me, I had asked if I could add some of your writing to a homeschool organization’s monthy newsletter I made. Since then we moved and my final newsletter was in Oct. which is why I didn’t get back to you then. I can send the pdf if you would like, but I’m not in that service role now. I do encourage you to offer your perspective to your local HS group’s newsletter
